Why Non-Alcoholic Beers Harm Your Liver
Due to the way in which alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are classified, any drink that contains between 0.5-1.2% alcohol is classed as low-alcoholic, whereas anything under 0.5% is non-alcoholic.
But to add complexity, there is often an overlap between how ‘non-alcoholic’ and ‘alcohol-free’ is used. In both cases, you should assume they contain up to 0.5% alcohol.
Now, if you have any of the above diseases, it is highly recommended that you avoid alcohol completely. Drinking ‘non-alcoholic’ drinks still means you are consuming alcohol.
