- Malty, citrus taste
- Limited availability
The final beer of this series comes from the alcohol free wizards who are Mash Gang. Mash Gang are known for producing great tasting alcohol-free beers across a range of styles and are well known for their quirky and experimental styles, so quite surprising for this series they reigned back on the crazy and went for a pilsner.
This special edition beer is a collab between nolo specialists – Brulo – and Croatian brewers The Garden Brewery. So with this beer we would be expecting those flavours to be at the front and hopefully see some of the other breweries influences too.
Initial Review
The beer pours with a nice clear and crisp straw coloured beer with a small white head. The aroma is quite malty with a hint of citrus, and as with all the beers in this series this has a great mouthfeel. The malts that are there in the aroma is in the flavour with nice citrus flavours coming through in the finish, with a distinctive aroma which can probably be associated with Saaz hops.
Overall an enjoyable beer slightly different from their other lagers being more heavy on the malts but a nice addition to the range.
